25. La Center Wildcats(14-2)

Previous Ranking: 22

This Week: at Castle Rock (Wednesday, 7 p.m.), vs. Columbia (Friday, 7 p.m.)

La Center suffered a tough home loss to league rivals King's Way Christian that shifted the league standings greatly. La Center has to take care of business before a rematch with King's Way Christian that will determine the league title. Smart money is on the Wildcats to prevail.

24. O'Dea Fighting Irish(10-6)

Previous Ranking: 23

This Week: at Franklin (Tuesday, 7:30 p.m.), vs. Roosevelt (Friday, 7:30 p.m.)

This Fighting Irish looks to have rebounded from their mid-season tumble as they have now rattled of three league wins in a row. They got their superstar back in Paolo Banchero and won't be a team that anyone wants to face come playoff time.

23. Columbia River Chieftains(13-2)

Previous Ranking: 25

This Week: at Mark Morris (Wednesday, 7 p.m.), at Hockinson (Friday, 7 p.m.)

The Chieftains have rattled off eight straight victories and currently find themselves seated at the top of the 2A GSHL league. With two wins this past week it's almost a sure bet that the Chieftains will be crowned 2A GSHL champions. Two victories this upcoming week should lock up the title and then sights shift to a State run. 

22. Zillah Leopards(16-1)

Previous Ranking: 24

This Week: at Cle Elum-Roslyn (Friday, 7:30 p.m.)

A huge week for the Leopards in the hunt for a league title saw them come away with two more wins. They are in the drivers seat for the title and a lone win this week should lock up the league. Look for them to challenge Lynden Christian for a state title. 

21. Deer Park Stags(17-0)

Previous Ranking: 21

This Week: at Newport (Tuesday, 7:15 p.m.), vs. Medical Lake (Friday, 7:15 p.m.)

The Stags continue to win. Much like the Kittitas team, you can't fault them for their less than intimidating schedule, as they have dismissed their opponents in impressive fashion. With the meat of their league schedule approaching, we should get a good idea of where this team stands and how much noise they can make come playoff time. 

20. Bellevue Wolverines(12-4)

Previous Ranking: 18

This Week: at Lake Washington (Tuesday, 7:15 p.m.), at Newport-Bellevue (Friday 8:30 p.m.)

A strong week was highlighted by two more wins for the Wolverines. They are all tied up with Mercer Island at the top of KingCo league and their matchup on February 1st have all signs pointing to a league champion being crowned that day. 

19. Kentridge Chargers(14-4)

Previous Ranking: 20

This Week: vs. Tahoma (Tuesday, 7 p.m.), at Kent Meridian (Friday, 7 p.m.)

The Chargers had two big wins this past week and look to keep it rolling against two league opponents this week. If they can win these games, they have all but locked up the NPSL title and look to keep momentum going for the playoffs.

18. Lincoln Abes(13-3)

Previous Ranking: 13

This Week: at Mount Tahoma (Wednesday, 7 p.m.), vs. Stadium (Friday, 7 p.m.)

After a huge week that was highlighted by two PCL unbeatens Wilson and Lincoln squaring off, the Abes came out on top and put themselves in the drivers seat for the PCL league title. However, a puzzling loss to Eastlake, the Abes need to find some momentum to close out the league title. 

17. Skyview Storm(13-4)

Previous Ranking: 16

This Week: at Battle Ground (Friday, 5:30 p.m.)

A tough loss to Union this last week was followed up with a demolition of league foe Heritage. They still have hope for at least a share on GSHL title with their final game of the season against the current No. 4 Union Titans. A tough road game against Battle Ground on Friday could go a long way for a team looking to build momentum before the playoffs. 

16. Kittitas Coyotes(16-1)

Previous Ranking: 17

This Week: vs. White Swan (Tuesday, 7:30 p.m.)

Kittitas continues to impress each week with blowout wins against their league opponents. However, this past week saw them blowout 4A Kentlake. Hailing from the "B" ranks of Washington basketball, you can't fault them for beating who is on their schedule. Brock Ravet continues to play well game in and game out for a team that looks to repeat as State Champions. 

15. Rainier Beach Vikings(11-4)

Previous Ranking: 6

This Week: at Ingraham (Tuesday, 7 p.m.), vs. Bishop Blanchet (Friday, 8 p.m.)

Rainier Beach dropped nine spots this week, the largest fall of any team in the rankings. Losers of three of their last four, the Vikings need this week to gain some momentum before a huge matchup with Eastside Catholic that will likely determing the Metro League Champion. 

14. Curtis Vikings (13-4)

Previous Ranking: 14

This Week: vs. Graham-Kapowsin (Friday, 7 p.m.)

Curtis had as big of a week as anyone in the rankings this past week, knocking off Puyallup and Olympia that has kept them in the discussion for a league title. Zack Paulsen has been the leader for this team and they look to keep the momentum going with another strong showing this week.

13.Franklin Pierce Cardinals(17-1)

Previous Ranking: 19

This Week: vs. White River (Tuesday, 7 p.m.), vs. Orting (Friday, 7 p.m.)

The Cardinals found themselves on the losing end of a game for the first time this year, but bounced back in a big way with two victories following the loss. They are making a statement at the 2A level as a team that should challenge Lynden for a state title. They have dominated the SPSL 2A so far and hope a state title is in their future.

12. Puyallup Vikings(14-3)

Previous Ranking: 12

This Week: vs. Rogers-Puyallup (Tuesday, 7 p.m.), at Olympia (Friday, 7 p.m.)

After dropping a tough road game to Curtis, the Vikings rebounded in a big way by dismantling Emerald Ridge. They hold firm at No. 12 and still remain on top of the SPSL. Two wins this week would go a long way for their league title hopes. 

11. Marysville-Pilchuck Tomahawks(13-3)

Previous Ranking: 15

This Week: vs. Arlington (Wednesday, 7:15 p.m.) at Marysville-Getchell (Friday, 7:15 p.m.)

A team that just continues to climb up our rankings, the Tomahawks are playing as well as anyone in the state. Washington signee Raequan Battle has been a catalyst for this team's turnaround. They should be favored in their remaining games and the Tomahawks look like a team that no one would want to face come playoff time.

10. Mount Si Wildcats (16-2)

Previous Ranking: 10

This Week: at Issaquah (Friday, 8 p.m.),

Two victories this past week have lept the Wildcats in our top ten. Led by guard Jabe Mullins, Mount Si looks ready for the playoffs and have all but locked up a league title. They appear to be the class of the KingCo league and have their sights set on a League and State Title. 

9. Kelso Hilanders(15-1)

Previous Ranking: 11

This Week:  at Prairie (Tuesday, 5:30 p.m.), vs. Evergreen (Friday, 5:30 p.m.),

Another week goes by where the Hilanders take care of business. Three victories bumped them up to No. 9 spot in this weeks rankings. They have impressive victories over No. 13 Lincoln and a lopsided win over Battle Ground. Senior wing Shaw Anderson has been outstanding on a team that continues to fly under the radar.

8. Richland Bombers(15-2)

Previous Ranking: 9

This Week: at Kennewick (Friday, 7:30 p.m.), vs. Hermiston (Saturday, 7:30 p.m.)

Three more victories last week saw the Bombers move up one spot. A team that has shown remarkable consistency shows no signs of letting up. Up to this point their senior leadership has really been the tale of the season so far. 

7. Lynden Christian Lyncs(17-0)

Previous Ranking: 8

This Week: at Lynden (Friday, 7:15 p.m.)

After three more victories the Lyncs improved to 17-0 and moved up one spot in our power rankings. They find themselves at No. 7 because they have lacked opportunities for big wins that the teams ahead of them enjoyed in the first half of the season. They have a crosstown matchup between No. 5 Lynden in what is shaping up to be the best game of the year to date. 

6. Mt. Spokane Wildcats(15-1)

Previous Ranking: 7

This Week: at Central Valley (Tuesday, 5:30 p.m.), at University (Friday, 5:30 p.m.)

Two more blowout wins for Wildcats this past week solidifies their ranking. The Wildcats have proven themselves to be the class of the 3A GSL level this season beating up on their competition. Two road games this week could provide a test for a team playing as well as anyone in the state.

5. Lynden Lions (17-0)

Previous Ranking: 5

This Week: vs. Lynden Christian (Friday, 7:15 p.m.) 

Lynden remains the favorite for a 2A title and after a week of two more victories they held their position in the power rankings. With 17 straight wins, including blowout wins over No. 15 Marysville-Pilchuk and No. 23 O’Dea, Head Coach Brian Roper and the Lions are simply head and shoulders above everyone else at the 2A level. In a potential game of the year across the state, the Lions will host undefeated crosstown rivals, Lynden Christian. The winner of that looks poised for an undefeated season. 

4. Union Titans(17-0)

Previous Ranking: 4

This Week: vs. Battle Ground (Tuesday, 5:30 p.m.), vs. Heritage (Friday, 5:30 p.m.)

The Titans rolled through their 4 game road stretch to all but lock up the GSHL title. An undefeated record is on the horizon for Blake Conley's squad. Their final game of the season against Skyview will be their last big test before playoffs. 

3.Federal Way Eagles(16-2)

Previous Ranking: 1

This Week: at Auburn Riverside (Tuesday, 7 p.m.), vs. Todd Beamer (Friday, 7 p.m.)

Federal Way took a loss last week to Ranney out of New Jersey. Although not a bad loss, they slipped to No. 3 in this week's rankings. However, they finish up league play this week that should see them claim the NPSL league title. After that, all eyes on a State Championship. 

2. Eastside Catholic Crusaders(16-0)

Previous Ranking: 3

This Week: vs. Ballard (Tuesday, 7:30 p.m.), at Garfield (Friday, 8:30 p.m.)

Eastside Catholic kept their perfect record in tact with two more victories last week. They go on the road to take on a surging Garfield squad on Friday before a looming matchup with Rainier Beach that could decide the Metro League Champion.

1. Gonzaga Prep Bullpups(14-2)

Previous Ranking: 2

This Week: at North Central (Tuesday, 5:30 p.m.), at Mead (Friday, 5:30 p.m.) 

Two more victories the prior week combined with a difficult strength of schedule have propelled the Bullpups to No. 1 in this week's rankings. Head Coach Matty McIntyre's Gonzaga Prep team has racked up quality wins against Mt. Spokane, Modesto Christian (Modesto, CA), and Lake Oswego (Lake Oswego, OR). They are almost a sure bet to win the league title and potentially the 4A front runner for a repeat as State champs.
