Nettleton vs. Vilonia: Arkansas high school girls basketball state tournament scores, live updates (2/28/2024)
Tipoff for Day 2 of the 2024 Class 5A state tournament begins with girls Central top seed Vilonia (23-6) taking on East four-seed Nettleton (23-7) in a rematch from Dec. 2.
The Lady Raiders handed Vilonia its third defeat of the season, but the Lady Eagles have not lost to in-state competition since. They tore through conference play, finishing 16-0 and won all of those contests by no less than 21 points and are riding a nine-game win streak.
Nettleton lost key senior Shakira Brown in the win over Vilonia but still fought its way to the postseason while grinding through a rugged East league. The Lady Raiders have won four consecutvie games.
