Arkansas high school girls basketball Top 25 rankings (2/13/2024)

The latest Top 25 rankings in Arkansas prep girls basketball

The end of the regular season is near for Classes 5A and 6A, while many of the rest will tip off district tournaments this week.

No. 3 Fort Smith Northside traveling to No. 10 Fayetteville headlines the week's Top 25 matchups, while another jam-packed slate is featured in Class 5A. No. 8 Vilonia has a shot at wrapping up the Central title, while crucial matchups between leaders holding top seeds in the remaining three conference will also go down.

For yet another week, everyone held on to their respective spots. Check out the latest movement and see where your team landed below.

1. Farmington (31-1)

Last week: 1

After completing an unblemished run through the 4A-1 Conference for the third consecutive season, the Lady Cardinals now have their sights set on back-to-back state titles as they start the postseason with district play this week.

2. Conway (20-6)

Last week: 2

A five-point triumph over Cabot in a Top 5 6A-Central matchup got the week tipped off before the Lady Wampus Cats took down Link (Mo.) Academy on Friday in non-conference action.

3. Fort Smith Northside (22-3)

Last week: 3

With wins over Rogers and Bentonville, the Lady Bears keep their 2024 undefeated streak in-tact and have won ten consecutive contests as they lead the 6A-West race by a game-and-a-half.

4. Cabot (24-4)

Last week: 4

Even though they kept it close this time around, the Lady Panthers were not able to conquer No. 2 Conway, but did respond with convincing victories over Bryant and Little Rock Central.

5. North Little Rock (22-4)

Last week: 5

They came into the week having lost two of their past three contests, but the Lady Charging Wildcats now look to add to their fresh two-game win streak against Little Rock Southwest and a sneaky Bryant squad in their next two contests.

6. Greenwood (20-4)

Last week: 7

The Lady Bulldogs put 84 points against Harrison on Friday, their second-most all season, and head to Siloam Springs on Tuesday before returning home Friday for a rematch against No. Mountain Home that they have been itching for.

7. Nashville (23-4)

Last week: 8

Before capping the week with a nonconference win over Class 5A Benton, the Scrapperettes held 4A-7 foes De Queen and Hope each under 20 points. They close out the regular season this week against Arkadelphia and Magnolia.

8. Vilonia (19-6)

Last week: 9

With four regular-season games left, the Lady Eagles have still not been challenged in 5A-Central play and can seal the conference title this week with wins over eStem and Sylvan Hills.

9. Fayetteville (18-7)

Last week: 10

After earning a convincing redemption win over rival Springdale in a Top 10 matchup, the Lady Purple Dogs have won eight of their past nine contests and are right on the heels of No. 3 Northside in the 6A-West race.

10. Springdale (20-5)

Last week: 6

A slow start against Fayetteville doomed the Lady Red Dogs, who were not able to complete the season sweep of their arch rival, and Springdale now sits two games out of first place in the 6A-West.

11. Little Rock Central (14-10)

Last week: 11

A win at Bryant stopped some of the bleeding, but the Lady Tigers closed out the week with a lopsided loss to Cabot and have dropped two of their past three contests with No. 2 Conway next.

12. Greene County Tech (22-5)

Last week: 12

Everyone in the 5A-East is gunning for the Lady Eagles, but they hung tough for another week in single-digit wins over Batesville and Valley View. A big week is up, starting at home against No. 14 Searcy before heading to No. 13 Marion Friday.

13. Russellville (18-6)

Last week: 13

Save for a humbling loss to Greenwood, the Lady Cyclones have rolled over the past month winning eight of nine games. They head to No. 15 Mountain Home on Tuesday looking for similar results as the last time the two met.

14. Searcy (20-5)

Last week: 14

They took care of what they needed to in earning Top 25 5A-East wins over West Memphis and Marion last week, but there is still work to be done as the Lady Lions look to chip away at conference leader No. 12 Greene County Tech on Tuesday.

15. Mountain Home (20-6)

Last week: 15

Following a one-point escape against Van Buren, the Lady Bombers face their most important week of the season thus far as they host No. 13 Russellville on Tuesday before traveling to a hungry No. 6 Greenwood squad.

16. Nettleton (19-7)

Last week: 17

The Lady Raiders currently own the 5A-East's fourth and final playoff spot despite dropping three of their past five contests, but should provide themselves with some insurance against Paragould and Batesville this week.

17. Marion (13-10)

Last week: 16

Just to show how deep the 5A-East is, if the season were to end today the Lady Patriots would miss the postseason following back-to-back conference Top 25 defeats. They look to bounce back against Batesville before a massive home showdown with No. Greene County Tech.

18. Har-Ber (17-8)

Last week: 18

Currently holding the 6A-West's No. 4 seed, the Lady Wildcats took a road win over Rogers and look to add to their streak in favorable matchups this week against Rogers Heritage and Fort Smith Southside.

19. Brookland (27-2)

Last week: 19

All is right in Brookland as the Lady Bearcats look forward to hosting the 4A-3 district tournament as its top seed and they have won 14 consecutive games.

20. West Memphis (15-10)

Last week: 20

The Lady Blue Devils were not able to complete the season sweep of Searcy, but they did salvage the week by earning some redemption over Nettleton as they hope to avoid letdowns against Valley View and Paragould this week.

21. Morrilton (25-1)

Last week: 21

A rout of Waldron and a five-point win over Dardanelle clinched a second straight unbeaten run through the 4A-4 conference as the Lady Devil Dogs now aim for more prestige.

22. Bergman (34-2)

Last week: 22

Dominant victories over Valley Springs and Flippin secured the second undefeated run in the past three seasons for the Lady Panthers against Class 3A competition.

23. Lake Hamilton (19-7)

Last week: 23

It was a little too close for their comfort, but the Lady Wolves escaped crosstown foe Hot Springs Lakeside by a point as a rematch with Benton for first place in the 5A-South standings tips off Tuesday.

24. Bentonville (13-14)

Last week: 24

Split games last week, thumping crosstown rival Bentonville West, before falling to Fort Smith Northside as the Tigers come into this week clanging to the 6A-West's No. 5 seed.

25. Gravette (21-7)

Last week: 25

Like everyone – especially in Class 4A – has, the Lady Lions fell victim to top-ranked Farmington in their regular season finale, but did manage to earn a win over Berryville to salvage part of the week.
