Bentonville West Wolverines boys basketball

This season has had its share of frustrations, but the Wolverines gained some confidence with victories over ranked Bentonville and Roger Heritage.

Fayetteville Bulldogs boys basketball

The Purple Dogs took sole possession of first place in the 6A-West with a massive win over No. 1 Springdale Har-Ber a day after defeating Rogers. Fayetteville also remains undefeated against in-state competition.

Mountain Home Bombers girls basketball

A 23-point performance by Laykin Moore powered the Lady Bombers to a nine-point win over No. 3 Greenwood. The victory was No. 400 for head coach Dell Leonard and the Lady Bombers currently lead the 5A-West race.

Perryville Mustangs girls basketball

Coming off of a loss, the Lady Mustangs edged two-time defending 3A runner-up Lamar, who currently sits atop the 3A-5 standings in a tie with Mayflower.

Springdale Bulldogs girls basketball

Springdale escaped rival Springdale Har-Ber by a point to keep itself with the 6A-West's Top 3 in an overall Top 15 matchup. While they did also drop a heartbreaker in overtime against Fort Smith Northside, the Lady Red Dogs continued to prove last week that they are prepped to compete with the state's best in the three-point loss.

West Fork Tigers boys basketball

They still have work to do, but the Tigers helped themselves in the 3A-1 standings by taking down leader Elkins on Friday. West Fork is now tied for third with Valley Springs two games behind the Elks.
