Arkansas' best high school football players 2023: Meet the state's top juniors

Some of the 2023 football season's top juniors

With the 2023 football season complete, SBLive Arkansas searched the state to find the top performers from the junior (2025) class. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: Players were chosen based on information sent in from coaches, as well as nominations from our staff. There were hundreds of standout performers this season and this is not intended to be a comprehensive list. 

RB/DB Nick Abrams, Joe T. Robinson

Abrams compiled 1,022 all-purpose yards, including 721 rushing, with 18 total touchdowns. Defensively, Abrams logged 46 total tackles, including six for loss, 

DL Peyton Adams, Pulaski Academy

Adams finished the year with 79 total tackles, including 48 solo and 13 for loss and 13 sacks, forced a fumble and blocked a field goal. 

RB Daniel Anderson, Bryant

Injuries limited the Notre Dame commit to only five games in 2023, but he expects to be back to full speed in 2024 after rushing for 164 yards and a score last season. 

OL/DL Collin Andrews, Walnut Ridge

Along with paving the way to helping the Bobcats compile over 4,000 yards of offense, Andrews also contributed on defense with 21 tackles.

DL Cash Archer, Greenwood 

The SBLive Arkansas Defense Player of the Year logged 78 total tackles, including 29 for loss with 20 sacks and 38 QB hurries, batted down 4 passes, forced two fumbles, plus blocked both a punt and field goal. 

WR Isaiah Arrington, Greenwood

The speedy wideout really made his presence felt in the varsity ranks, hauling in 38 receptions for 582 yards and 9 touchdowns. 

QB Darrell Atkins Jr., Camden Fairview 

In his first year as a full-time starter, Atkins Jr. helped the Cardinals back to the 5A semifinals while completing 176-of-286 passes for 2,600 yards and 21 touchdowns. He also rushed 92 times for 460 yards and 5 scores.

QB Evan Baker, Shiloh Christian

When Baker's number was called, he delivered, completing 107-of-160 passes for 1,446 yards and 15 touchdowns, along with adding 991 yards rushing. 

RB Isaac Baker, Harding Academy 

Baker went down with an injury that kept him out of the 4A state finals, but he was a force this season when healthy. He rushed for 925 yards and 11 touchdowns on 119 carries and hauled in 47 receptions for 814 yards and 10 scores. 

RB Hayden Barton, Lake Hamilton

Barton stepped up and became the Wolves' featured back, finishing with 912 yards and 11 touchdowns on 124 carries. 

TE/DL Gabe Boyle, Carlisle 

Boyle collected 59 total tackles, including 24 solo and 5 for loss with four sacks, and recovered a fumble. 

QB Tyson Bradden, North Little Rock

Bradden transferred to Joe T. Robinson, but completed 147-of-266 passes for 2,076 yards and 21 touchdowns in 2023 for the Charging Wildcats. 

DB/WR Ronald Buckanan, Camden Fairview

Buckanan logged 86 total tackles, including 43 solo, and tied for the team lead in interceptions with 3, plus deflected three passes and recovered a fumble. 

QB Daniel Burton, Mansfield

Burton ran for 1,519 yards and 18 touchdowns on 115 carries. 

RB/DB Louis Calhoun, Southside (Batesville)

Calhoun collected 140 total tackles, including 10 for loss and 6 QB hurries, deflected three passes and recovered two fumbles. 

OL/DL Landon Canady, Parkview

Canady logged 21 total tackles, including 3 sacks with 9 QB hurries, and offensively graded out at 81% with 46 knockdown blocks. 

QB Kenyon Carter, Marked Tree

Carter compiled 3,000 yards of offense (2,500 passing, 500 rushing) and 45 total touchdowns while throwing only four interceptions. 

WR/DB Cole Chipman, Paragould 

Chipman eclipsed over 1,000 yards rushing for the Rams. 

WR Deonte Clark, Stuttgart

Clark compiled 1,532 yards of offense (283 rushing, 1,249 receiving) and 15 touchdowns. 

QB Brandon Cobb, Pulaski Academy 

With some sort of cast on his non-throwing hand throughout most of the season, Cobb led the state with 4,300 passing yards and 39 touchdowns while completing 60% of his passes. Cobb also rushed for 557 yards and 5 touchdowns. 

ATH DJ Coffey, Pocahontas 

Coffey rushed for 1,410 yards on 240 carries and 19 touchdowns. 

DB Jakob Coleman, Joe T. Robinson

Coleman finished with 37 total tackles, including 24 solo, and led the Senators with 5 interceptions, plus batted down two passes and recovered two fumbles.

DB KJ Colen, Pulaski Academy 

A versatile athlete in the secondary, Colen loved 35 tackles, including 29 solo, batted down three passes, recovered a fumble, blocked a field goal and nabbed an interception. 

WR Trenton Cooley, Van Buren

Cooley led the Pointers with 1,222 yards and 12 touchdowns on 86 receptions, along with adding a rushing score. Cooley also makes plays on the basketball court and was recently highlighted on ESPN

WR Walden Culpepper, Pulaski Academy

Culpepper finished as one of the state's top receivers with 1,414 yards and 11 touchdowns on 87 receptions. 

ATH Jersie Cunningham, Walnut Ridge

Cunningham compiled 1,222 total yards (299 passing, 889 rushing, 34 receiving) of offense and 13 touchdowns, while also nabbing two interceptions on defense. 

OL Carius Curne, Marion 

Curne logged 52 knockdowns and graded out at 90%. 

WR Kam Davis, Warren

Davis caught 35 passes for 756 yards and 9 touchdowns. 

WR Maddox Davis, Benton

Davis hauled in 64 catches for 868 yards and 15 touchdowns. 

DL Dakota Deer, Mansfield

Deer logged 38 total tackles, including 11 for loss and three sacks. 

WR Jaison DeLamar, Fayetteville 

The University of Arkansas baseball commit hauled in 89 passes for 1,438 yards and 17 touchdowns. 

LB Maliq Musa Dennis, Camden Fairview

Musa Dennis led the Cardinals with 120 total tackles, including 48 total with 12 for loss, recovered a fumble and blocked two punts.

RB/LB Brady Domokos, Conway Christian 

Domokos rushed for 1,014 yards and 14 touchdowns, along with totaling 60 total tackles on defense. 

RB Luke Elsik, Farmington

Elsik compiled 1,356 yards of total offense and scored 20 touchdowns. 

WR Monterrio "Money" Elston, Parkview 

Elston compiled 1,854 all-purpose yards (847 rushing, 887 receiving, 120 return) and 22 touchdowns. 

QB Jackson England, Catholic

England completed 178-of-273 passes for 2,276 yards and 23 touchdowns, along with adding 515 yards and 14 scores on the ground. 

LB Javeon Fricks, Mineral Springs

Fricks logged 32 tackles, including 21 solo and 12 for loss with a sack, plus forced two fumbles and nabbed an interception. He also compiled 447 yards of total offense and 5 touchdowns. 

QB/DB Connor Frith, Perryville

Frith nabbed an incredible 12 interceptions in 11 games, along with compiling 47 total tackles. He is also the Mustangs' quarterback, completing 92-of-171 passes for 1,315 yards and 9 touchdowns, along with 451 yards rushing. 

WR/DB Jonathan Frost, Maumelle

Frost logged 51 total tackles, including 2 for loss, and nabbed three interceptions. Offensively, Frost hauled in 20 catches for 233 yards and 2 scores. 

LB Eli Gilstrap, Ozark

Gilstrap led the Hillbillies with 122 total tackles, including 83 solo and 12 for loss with 4 sacks, blocked 2 punts, and nabbed two interceptions. 

WR Cadien Gipson, Vilonia 

Gipson compiled 1,055 all-purpose yards (368 rushing, 538 receiving, 148 return) and 5 touchdowns.

WR Charlie Graves, Fayetteville

Graves caught 44 passes for 506 yards and 11 touchdowns.  

ATH Dominique Grimes, Junction City 

Grimes led the Dragons in both rushing (607 yards, 10 touchdowns) and receiving (700 yards, 8 touchdowns). Defensively, he collected 29 total tackles, including 21 solo and 1 for loss, and nabbed four interceptions.

QB Maddox Hampton, Nettleton 

Hampton completed 126-of-205 passes for 1,707 yards and 18 touchdowns, while adding 139 yards and 2 scores on the ground.  

DL River Hancock, Walnut Ridge

Hancock logged 60 total tackles, including 40 solo with 7 for loss and 8 sacks. 

WR Buddah Harris, Rivercrest

Harris hauled in 43 catches for 691 yards and 6 touchdowns. 

DL Kaynan Harris, Harding Academy 

A three-year starter, Harris logged 43 total tackles, including 16 for loss and 2 sacks, and nabbed an interception. 

ATH Trent Haygood, Camden Fairview

Certainly one of the state's most underrated players regardless of classification, Haygood finished the season with 2,354 all-purpose yards (1,124 rushing, 847 receiving, 383 kickoff return) and 18 total touchdowns. Haygood also connected on 9-of-13 extra point tries. 

DL Carter Henley, Shiloh Christian

Henley logged 106 tackles, including 40 solo and 5 for loss with 2 sacks, forced two fumbles and recovered another, while also nabbing an interception. 

K Cooper Henry, El Dorado

Henry connected on 6-of-9 field goal attempts with a long of 40, made 32-of-33 extra points and averaged 51 yards per kickoff. 

LB Walter Hicks, Benton

Hicks led the Panthers with 104 total tackles, including 11 sacks and 2 QB hurries, plus forced a fumble and recovered four.

DL Eli Hill, Bryant

Hill collected 82 total tackles, including 58 solo with 35 tackles for loss and 11.5 sacks, plus forced two fumbles. 

WR/DB Ryan Hobbs, Bigelow 

Hobbs compiled 54 total tackles, including 2.5 for loss, and broke up 8 passes while nabbing 6 interceptions. Offensively, Hobbs compiled 764 total yards and 14 touchdowns. 

RB Russell Hodge, Farmington 

Hodge rushed for 615 yards and 12 touchdowns, along with hauling in 10 catches for 132 yards and a score. 

RB/LB Gabriel Holmes, Gravette 

Holmes was a force for Gravette, compiling 2,395 total yards of offense (1,014 passing, 1,124 rushing, 257 receiving) and 36 touchdowns. 

LB Eric Huett, Greenbrier 

Huett collected 95 total tackles, including 48 solo and 13 for loss with 2 sacks, plus broke up three passes and forced three fumbles. 

OL/DL Danny Johnson, Pine Bluff

Johnson logged 35 total tackles, 28 of them solo and 10 for loss with 4 sacks, and forced a fumble. 

DL Micah Johnson, North Little Rock 

Johnson, who recently transferred to Parkview, collected 58 tackles, including 13 for loss and five sacks, along with five QB hurries. 

RB Kale Jones, Lincoln

Jones did a little bit of everything for the Wolves while compiling over 2,000 total yards of offense (141 passing, 1,667 rushing, 309 receiving) and scoring 33 touchdowns. 

WR Antonio Jordan, Warren 

Jordan led the Lumberjacks with 53 catches for 1,093 yards and 16 touchdowns. 

LB Marshon Jordan, White Hall

Jordan led the Bulldogs with 126 total tackles, including 77 solo and 6 for loss with 3 sacks and 4 QB hurries, while also forcing two fumbles and recovering one.  

K Nathan Kachel, Fayetteville

Along with averaging 56 yards per kickoff, Kachel also connected on 71-of-73 extra point attempts and 9-of-10 field goals with a long of 33. 

WR Grant Karnes, Greenwood

Karnes finished with almost 1,400 all-purpose yards, including 990 receiving, with 16 total touchdowns. 

QB Ben Keithley, Bismarck

Keithley compiled 2,830 yards (1,856 passing, 956 rushing) of total offense with 38 touchdowns while throwing only three interceptions. Keithley also collected 47 tackles, including 30 solo with 1.5 for loss, and nabbed two interceptions. 

WR/DB Bryce Keathley, Conway Christian 

Keathley collected 107 total tackles and nabbed 10 interceptions, along with hauling in 5 receiving touchdowns. 

RB Cam Keller, Van Buren

Keller led the Pointers with 1,136 yards rushing and 15 touchdowns on 226 carries. Keller also hauled in 36 catches for 340 yards and three scores. 

OL/DL Bradyn King, Gurdon

King was out during the second half of the season with an injury, but has been a force when healthy since his freshman year. In 2023, He logged 21 total tackles, including 14 solo and 9 for loss with 2 sacks, plus forced a fumble and recovered another.

LB Jonah Knapp, Bentonville 

Knapp collected 110 total tackles, including 53 solo and six for loss with eight sacks, forced two fumbles and recovered another, plus nabbed two interceptions. 

RB Caydon Koons, Gentry 

Koons rushed for 925 yards and 11 touchdowns on 126 carries, along with hauling in 13 receptions for 153 yards. 

LB Kohen Ligons, Nettleton

Ligons collected 110 total tackles, including 67 solo and 5 for loss, and recovered two fumbles. 

DL Andrew Lomack, Rivercrest

Lomack compiled 63 total tackles, including 12 for loss, and chipped in on 1.5 sacks for the 4A finalist Colts.  

RB Rickey Love, Searcy 

Love led the Lions with 1,056 yards rushing and 22 touchdowns on 178 carries, plus caught 17 passes for 336 yards and 5 scores. 

OL Josh Luallen, Harding Academy

Luallen, who has started since his freshman year, helped Harding Academy win its fourth state title in the past five years while paving the way to the offense compiling over 5,000 yards of offense.  

LB Vanterrues Lucas, Gosnell

Lucas logged 125 total tackles, including 93 solo and 39 for loss with 11 sacks, plus forced a fumble and recovered another, and nabbed an interception. 

DL Kydon Lynch, Gentry

Lynch logged 10 for loss with 8 sacks, plus forced a fumble and recovered another. 

QB/DB Andrew Mack, Lafayette County

Mack compiled 2,560 yards of total offense (1,360 passing, 1,200 rushing) and 21 touchdowns. He also logged 20 tackles including six for loss and a sack, plus nabbed 3 interceptions. 

WR/SS Landon Martin, Elkins

Martin hauled in 54 receptions for 760 yards and 9 touchdowns.  

DL/LB Joe Mason, Maumelle

Mason collected 39 total tackles, including 13 for loss and a sack, plus forced a fumble and recovered two more. 

WR Cam Massey, Fort Smith Northside

In eight games, Massey hauled in 88 catches for 1,067 yards and 10 touchdowns. 

RB/DB Malik Matthews, Mineral Springs

Matthews rushed for 531 yards and six touchdowns on 49 carries, plus hauled in 9 receptions for 150 yards and 3 scores. Defensively, Matthews logged 22 tackles and nabbed two interceptions. 

WR Endy McGalliard, Harding Academy

The sky is the limit for this lengthy wideout and he showed plenty of flashes in 2023. McGalliard hauled in 40 catches for 654 yards and 10 scores. 

LB Nick Miller, Bryant

Miller logged 94 total tackles, including 53 solo and four for loss with two sacks, recovered five fumbles and nabbed two interceptions. 

QB Owen Miller, Harding Academy

The 4A state finals MVP led the Wildcats to their fourth state title in five years while completing 226-of-296 passes for 3,841 yards and 49 touchdowns to only one interception. Miller also added 815 yards and 12 rushing touchdowns. 

QB Kane Richardson, Greenbrier

Richardson compiled 1,900 yards of total offense (1,511 passing, 389 rushing) and 25 touchdowns. 

WR Sam Schlegel, Alma

Schlegel caught 47 passes for 735 yards and 3 touchdowns, while also compiling 348 return yards on special teams. 

WR Tremond Miller, Warren

Miller caught 37 passes for 452 yards and 9 touchdowns. 

QB McLane Moody, Fort Smith Northside 

Moody completed 239-of-400 passes for 2,732 yards and 23 touchdowns, along with 112 yards rushing and 2 scores. 

WR Kasen Morgan, Nashville

Morgan led the Scrappers in receiving by a long shot, hauling in 41 passes for 652 yards and 11 touchdowns. 

DB Bo Mosley, Russellville 

Mosley logged 20 total tackles, including 4 for loss, broke up 15 passes and recovered two fumbles while also nabbing 6 interceptions. 

QB Quentin Murphy, Joe T. Robinson 

The recent Parkview transfer and Power 5 prospect did battle an injury during the season, but still compiled 1,589 yards of offense and 19 touchdowns. 

DL Brody Myers, Harding Academy

Myers collected 55 total tackles, including 8 sacks, and blocked a punt. 

LB Kaden Nash, Pulaski Academy 

Nash logged 95 total tackles, including 51 solo with 11 for loss and 5 sacks, and recovered a fumble. 

LB Landon Neal, Elkins

Neal compiled 43 total tackles, including 22 solo with 14 for loss and 10 sacks, with 3 pass breakups, 2 fumble recoveries, forced two fumbles and nabbed an interception. 

LB/DB Joseph Newman, Hot Springs Lakeside

Newman collected 75 total tackles, including 13 for loss with 2 sacks, and recovered a fumble. 

OL Ryan Nolan, Joe T. Robinson

The mammoth offensive tackle logged 40 knockdown blocks and allowed zero sacks. 

RB Grady Ohman, Hot Springs Lakeside 

Ohman rushed for 963 yards and 14 touchdowns on 171 carries, plus hauled in eight receptions for 88 yards. Ohman also collected 86 total tackles, including 10 for loss with 4 sacks, and nabbed an interception. 

WR Elias Payne, Benton 

Payne caught 46 passes for 1,102 yards and 12 touchdowns. 

DB/WR Jermaine Penny, Parkview

Penny logged 23 total tackles, broke up 15 passes, recovered a fumble and nabbed two interceptions, retuning one for a score. Penny also hauled in 3 receiving scores on just 5 receptions and returned two kickoffs for touchdowns. 

RB Enrique Perez, Walnut Ridge 

Perez led the Bobcats with 1,694 yards and 17 touchdowns on 178 carries, along with collecting 43 total tackles, including 33 solo, plus forced a fumble and recovered another. 

DL JT Phelan, Pulaski Academy

Phelan logged 53 total tackles, including 25 solo with 8 for loss and 10 sacks. 

LB Andrew Plummer, Southside (Batesville)

Plummer was one of the state's top tacklers with 196 total, including 63 solo and 15 for loss with a sack, plus forced 6 fumbles and nabbed two interceptions. 

ATH Decari Prater, Prescott

Along with contributing on 409 total offensive yards and 6 touchdowns, Prater logged 64 tackles, including 31 solo and four for loss, broke up seven passes, forced a fumble and nabbed four interceptions. 

WR Karter Ratliff, Bryant

Ratliff had his breakout game in Week 10 against Conway, but the lengthy wideout finished the year with 41 catches for 714 yards and 8 touchdowns. 

OL/DL Tyler Ridley, Newport 

A force on both sides of the trenches, Ridley logged 63 total tackles, including 55 solo with 7 sacks. 

LB Bennett Roberts, Gentry

Roberts logged 137 total tackles, including 7 for loss with 4 sacks, and nabbed an interception. 

ATH Omarion Robinson, Parkview 

Robinson compiled 1,200 all-purpose yards (465 receiving, 119 rushing, 47 passing, 569 return), plus logged 42 total tackles, deflected 10 passes, forced two fumbles and nabbed two interceptions. 

DL Peyton Ross, Harmony Grove (OC) 

Ross logged 54 total tackles, including 33 solo and 9 for loss with 2 sacks. 

OL/LB Silas Schichtl, Bigelow 

Along with being a top contributor on the offensive line, Schichtl finished the year with 118 total tackles, including 29 for loss and 12 sacks, plus forced a fumble and recovered another. 

LB Peyton Sellers, Hamburg

Sellars finished the season with 140 total tackles, including 102 solo with five for loss. He forced three fumbles and recovered two, while also nabbing two interceptions. 

RB/DB Cam Settles, Parkview 

Settles rushed for 855 yards and 19 touchdowns on 98 carries, along with plus collected 22 tackles, broke up 12 passes and intercepted two. 

LB Brenden Simmons, Fordyce

Simmons logged 67 total tackles, including 11 for loss and 3 sacks, broke up four passes and scored 4 defensive touchdowns. 

RB/LB Brenton Sledge, Fordyce 

Sledge led the Redbugs in rushing with 1,029 yards and 7 touchdowns on 167 carries. 

RB Jalen Smith, Marion

Smith rushed for 815 yards and 8 touchdowns on 108 carries. 

DB Josh Smith, Joe T. Robinson 

Smith led the Senators with 112 tackles, including 69 solo and 11.5 for loss with a sack, and batted down four passes along with forcing a fumble. 

WR/DB Raylen Spratt, Dumas

Spratt caught 60 passes for 867 yards and eight touchdowns, plus logged 43 total tackles, including 4 for loss, deflected 5 passes and nabbed three interceptions. 

OL/DL Tate Spray, Centerpoint

Along with helping the Knights' offense eclipse 3,000 total yards, the college prospect compiled 35 total tackles, including 3 for loss, and forced a fumble on defense. 

DL Keon Stallings, Nettleton

Stallings collected 60 tackles, including seven for loss and two sacks, and recovered a fumble. 

RB Keagan Statler, Highland

Statler did everything for the Rebels, compiling 2,005 all-purpose yards (1,615 rushing, 128 receiving, 262 kickoff return) and 22 touchdowns. Statler also logged 72 total tackles, intercepted two passes and even chipped in on special teams, converting 13-of-14 field goal attempts. 

DB Kayvon Stringer, Pine Bluff

Stringer logged 28 total tackles, including 25 solo, and nabbed 5 interceptions. 

WR Jesse Sumpter, Searcy

Sumpter hauled in 43 catches for 553 yards and 9 touchdowns. 

RB Ridge Gordon-Swofford, Green Forrest

Gordon-Swofford rushed for 1,127 yards and 14 touchdowns, plus hauled in 16 receptions for 118 yards and 2 scores. 

K John Tait, Joe T. Robinson

Tait averaged 52 yards per kickoff with a long of 70 and eight touchbacks, along with averaging 35 yards per punt. He connected on 19-of-22 extra point attempts. 

LB Jayde Taylor, Valley View

Taylor collected 51 tackles, including 10 for loss, plus forced a fumble and recovered two more, and nabbed an interception. Taylor also blocked two punts and one field goal.

OL Cairo Terry, Bryant

Terry graded out at 87% while helping Bryant win its fifth consecutive 7A-Central conference title. 

WR Neondre Thomas, Warren

Thomas hauled in 49 receptions for 854 yards and 14 touchdowns. 

LB Charles Thompson, Searcy

Thompson collected 84 tackles, including 38 solo and 6 for loss with 7 sacks, forced a fumble and recovered another. 

RB Myron Thrash, Bryant

Despite playing in a crowded backfield, Thrash finished second on the Hornets' squad with 829 yards and 11 touchdowns on 95 carries, along with hauling in 2 passes for 86 yards and a score. 

LB Rhett Tidwell, Fayetteville 

Tidwell collected 108 total tackles, including 20 for loss with two sacks and 13 QB hurries, plus recovered three fumbles and returned one for a score. 

OL/DL Kalei Tokanong, Highland

Tokanong collected 63 total tackles including 19 for loss and a sack, along with forcing a fumble and recovering two more.  

WR James Townsend, Elkins

Townsend averaged almost one receiving score per game, hauling in a team-leading 12 on 62 receptions while finishing with 645 yards. He also logged 19 total tackles, 10 of them solo, and led the team with 7 interceptions. 

LB Hagen Tyler, Lake Hamilton

Tyler logged 67 total tackles, including 28 solo and 19 for loss with 3 sacks, plus broke up four passes, forced a fumble and nabbed an interception. 

WR/DB Brandon Vaughan, Greenland

Vaughan compiled 1,633 yards of total offense (345 passing, 469 rushing, 471 receiving) and 348 return yards with 17 touchdowns. Defensively, Vaughan collected 46 total tackles, including 26 solo, recovered a fumble that was returned or a score and nabbed 5 interceptions. 

WR Harris Vinson, Bentonville West 

Vinson finished second for West in receiving with 577 yards and 7 touchdowns on 39 receptions, along with rushing for 42 yards and a score on the ground. 

RB/OLB JaQuae Walden, Elkins

Along with compiling 345 all-purpose yards (240 rushing, 80 receiving, 25 punt return) 9 total touchdowns, Walden also led the Elks with 86 total tackles, including 53 solo with 22 for loss and 8 sacks, 4 pass breakups and forced two fumbles. 

QB Jordan Walker, Bryant 

Walker completed 151-of-242 passes for 2,583 yards and 33 touchdowns to just 5 interceptions. Walker added 417 yards and 4 touchdowns on the ground. 

WR Braedan Walton, Ashdown

It seems Ashdown produces at least one Division I prospect per season and Walton is certainly one for '25. He owns an offer from Arkansas State and has received a plethora of additional interest. 

LB Jackson Wammack, Southside (Batesville)

Wammack collected 128 total tackles, including 81 solo and 25 for loss with 2.5 sacks and 9 QB hurries.  

RB/LB Rahmaij Ware, Mineral Springs 

Ware logged 121 tackles, including 72 solo and 24 for loss with 4 sacks, forced six fumbles and recovered five, plus nabbed two interceptions. 

QB/DB Jace Washburn, Booneville

Washburn rushed for 463 yards and 5 touchdowns, while also completing 37-of-61 passes for 662 yards and 7 touchdowns. Defensively, Washburn collected 30 tackles and nabbed an interception. 

QB Cavonta Washington, Rivercrest

Washington helped Rivercrest to the 4A state finals, completing 149-of-238 passes for 2,081 yards and 24 touchdowns, along with 359 yards and 4 scores on the ground. 

WR/DB Roshawd Washington, Forrest City

Washington caught 36 passes for 706 yards and 7 touchdowns. 

WR/DB Hunter Wells, Vilonia 

Wells logged 48 total tackles, recovered two fumbles and nabbed six interceptions. He also compiled 265 total offensive yards and scored 7 touchdowns. 

WR/DB Dwayne White, Prescott

White led Prescott in receiving with 960 yards and 11 touchdowns on 55 catches. 

WR Jace White, North Little Rock 

White, a recent transfer to Parkview, hauled in 56 passes for 831 yards and 10 touchdowns for the Charging Wildcats while also adding 93 yards and a score on the ground. 

QB Koby Wilbanks, Ozark

Wilbanks did everything for the Hillbillies' offense, finishing with over 3,100 total yards of offense (1,232 passing, 1,917 rushing) and 28 touchdowns. Wilbanks also collected 44 total tackles, including 39 solo and 2 for loss. 

QB Grayson Wilson, Central Arkansas Christian

The University of Arkansas commit completed 211-of-321 passes (66%) for 3,387 yards and 41 touchdowns to only 2 interceptions, along with adding 709 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns on 74 carries. 

ATH Marcus Wimberly, Bauxite

The Power 5 prospect, again, shined on both sides of the ball for the Miners. He compiled 1,311 yards of total offense (255 passing, 640 rushing, 416 receiving) and collected 71 total tackles, one for loss, broke up 2 passes, recovered a fumble and nabbed an interception. 

DL Nykkisson Wimberly, Arkadelphia

Wimberly collected 56 total tackles, including 7 for loss and 6 sacks, forced a fumble and recovered two, plus nabbed and interception and scored a touchdown.  

WR Hayden Wood, Har-Ber

Wood hauled in 52 catches for 755 yards and 12 touchdowns.

RB Ben Woodfield, Mount Ida

Woodfield rushed for 921 yards and six touchdowns on 138 carries, plus had 135 kick return yards for the Lions. 

LB Zack Zitzmann, Greenwood

Zitzmann led the Bulldogs with 119 total tackles, including 74 solo with three for loss and two sacks, and broke up three passes.
