Some of the top performances last week in Arkansas prep boys basketball

Listed below are some of the top boys stars and best performances in the state’s recent high school basketball scene. If you know of a top performer we should include, please let us know. 

Kellen Robinson, Bryant 

The junior tallied a game-high 19 points, including 9 in the first quarter, in the Hornets’ 57-48 win over Jonesboro. He also poured in a game-high 24 points, and was named MVP of the Foster Roofing Holiday Classic in Fort Smith, as the Hornets topped North Little Rock 65-64 in the final game. 

JaKory Withers, North Little Rock

The senior scored 20 points in the Chargin’ Wildcats’ 76-60 win over Conway.

Kanard Turner, Conway

The junior had a team-high 20 points in the Wampus Cats’ 76-60 loss to North Little Rock.

Annor Boateng, Little Rock Central

The senior Missouri signee, scored 20 points in the Tigers’ 62-51 win over Tampa Sports Leadership and Management, in the semifinals of the Tampa Hoopfest.

Clay Blair, Little Rock Central

The sophomore went off for 21 points, including hitting 5 of 6 from three-point range, and added 4 rebounds and 3 assists, in the Tigers’ 66-37 win over Tennessee’s First Assembly Christian in thew finals of the Tampa Hoopfest.

Jameel Wesley, Little Rock Christian

The senior point-guard racked up 20 points, 10 assists and 5 rebounds in the Crusaders’ 74-30 win over Lonoke.

Garner Thornton, Cutter-Morning Star

The junior scored 15 points with 10 rebounds to pace the Eagles to a 60-43 win over Poyen.

Layne Taylor, Farmington

The senior North Texas commit scored a game-high 28 points, including 12 in the first quarter, as the Cardinals ran away with an 83-30 win over Gravette.

Xavier Brown, Fayetteville

The junior was all over the court for the Bulldogs, scoring 11 of his game-high 16 points in the first quarter, in a 64-31 win over Rogers Heritage. He also had 14 points in a 62-50 win over Springdale.

Courtland Muldrew, Springdale Har-Ber

The junior finished with a game-high 25 in the Wildcats’ 68-48 win over Rogers.

Jaxon Conley, Springdale Har-Ber

The junior scored 22 points in the Wildcats’ 68-48 win over Rogers.

Johmir Guyton, Blytheville

The sophomore hit a game-high 21 points, with 4 assists, in the Chickasaws’ 57-40 win over Pocahontas.

Za’Kyus Smith, Camden Harmony Grove

The junior lit it up with 32 points in the Hornets’ 77-61 win over Lake Village.

Rakebrien Wallace, Lake Village Lakeside

The junior finished with a team-high 19 points, with 6 rebounds in the Beavers’ 77-61 loss to Camden Harmony Grove.

Michael Moka, Joe T. Robinson

The senior went 8-for-10 from the floor and finished with a game-high 17 points in the Senators’ 74-48 win over Lonoke.

The sophomore poured in a game-high 32 points in the Greyhounds’ 70-50 win over Salem.

The senior exploded with 42 points in the Cougars’ 83-73 win over East Poinsett County.

Ben Manuel, Rogers Heritage

The senior led the way with 19 points and 10 rebounds to lift the War Eagles to an 82-51 victory over Fort Smith Southside.

Cooper Watson, Fort Smith Southside

The 6-foot-6 senior led Mavericks with 18 points and 8 rebounds in an 82-51 loss to Rogers Heritage. He also finished with a team-high 18 points in a 78-62 loss to Van Buren.

Jeremy Randolph, Little Rock Hall

The senior scored a game-high 23 points in the Warriors’ 71-54 win over Greenwood in the Foster Roofing Holiday Classic.

Kyle Archer, Ozark

The senior scored 17 points with 5 rebounds in the Hillbillies’ 50-34 win over Shiloh Christian in the championship game of the 38th Bank OZK Classic. He was named tournament MVP after totaling 52 points and 17 rebounds over the three-game event.

Konnor Edwards, Paris

The senior scored over half of his team’s points, draining a game-high 23 in the Eagles’ 56-41 loss to Johnson County Westside.
