Wynne football is SBLive’s Arkansas team of the Week (9/25/2023)

The Yellowjackets were voted SBLive’s Arkansas Team of the Week for Sept. 11-17

The Wynne football team was voted SBLive’s Arkansas Team of the Week for Sept. 11-17. 

The Yellowjackets received 1,211 votes (73.57%). The Carlisle football team tallied 417 votes (25.33%) for second place.

Wynne, which has dealt with adversity from the devastating March 31 tornado, won its first game of the year over Magnolia, 35-0, to end the nonconference season. Since then, the Yellowjackets have opened 5A-East Conference play with a win over Brookland.
