When Basha and Saguaro square off, fireworks always ensue.

Arizona commit Demond Williams Jr. racked up more than 400 yards of offense and accounted for five touchdowns to lead Basha to a 35-31 win over Saguaro on Friday (September 8).

It was a rematch of the 2022 Arizona Open Division football state championship game, won by Basha 28-21. 

Williams Jr. led Basha to a thrilling 35-31 victory over Saguaro. The four-star Arizona QB commit racked up 403 yards of offense - 218 passing and 185 rushing - and accounted for all five Basha touchdowns.
