Alabama high school football schedule: Week 9 (10/19/23 - 10/21/23)
The 2023 Alabama high school football season continues with Week 9 matchups kicking off Thursday and continuing through Saturday.
Several important games are on the schedule for this week, including a battle between a pair of Top 5 teams and another between two teams ranked in the Top 15.
The week's highlight is a showdown between Central - Phenix City and Auburn.
The Red Devils are currently the top-ranked in the state, while the Auburn Tigers are sitting at No. 4 in the latest Alabama high school football rankings.
After that game, the biggest matchup of the week is between the No. 5 Dothan Wolves and No. 14 Opelika Bulldogs.
These two teams have a combined six losses this year, but five of those six losses have come against teams ranked in the Top 5.
