Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Alabama High School Athlete of the Week for Sept. 11-17 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Voting will conclude on Sunday at 11:59 p.m and the winner will be announced the following Monday. Bryce Cain, WR, Baker

Brought in four passes for 151 yards and three touchdowns in a 51-44 win over Foley.

Ty Doughty, RB, James Clemens

Racked up 168 yards of total offense on eight touches with three touchdowns in a 45-31 win over Huntsville.

John Paul Head, QB, Vestavia Hills

Passed for just 65 yards but rushed 32 times for 211 yards and three touchdowns in a 26-7 win over Hoover.

Eli Holliman, DB, Shelby County

Recorded nine tackles and had both a pick-six and a fumble return for a touchdown in a 21-7 win over Jamison.

Jamar Malone, QB, Daphne

Racked up 323 passing yards and three touchdowns through the air and chipped in 48 rushing yards and two more scores on the ground n a 56-14 road win over Davidson.

Brandon Purifoy, DB, Vigor

Led the Wolves’ defense with 15 tackles, including two for a loss, a 95-yard fumble return touchdown and one interception in a 12-0 win over Williamson.

Rykelus Robertson, RB, Vincent

Rushed 12 times for 187 yards and three touchdowns in a 43-13 road win over Fayetteville.

Logan Silva, RB/LB, Arab

Led the defense with nine tackles and rushed 18 times for 95 yards and three touchdowns in a 29-26 win over Sardis.

Cole Ulrich, WR/DB, Elberta

The senior had a career night, with six tackles and three interceptions on defense and 95 yards and a touchdown on offense in a 31-13 win over LeFlore.
